HEAL OUT

“When you imprison a woman, you imprison a family.”

Women don’t fail the justice system—the justice system fails women. The Feral State HEAL OUT program exists to change that by addressing the trauma, caretaking burdens, and systemic inequities that shape women’s lives long before incarceration and long after release. By filling the most dangerous gap in the prison pipeline through Gender-responsive reform, HEAL OUT transforms trauma and hardship into resilience, long-term stability & support that reduces recidivism, builds job readiness, fosters economic empowerment, and prepares women for the workforce of tomorrow. In doing so, the program stabilizes children and families, strengthens communities, and helps break intergenerational cycles of poverty.

Help us build a more just society for women stuck in a system that feeds decline rather than healing and progress!
