RAHEIM
Raheim White is Head of Movement in the Department of Theatre at the University of Utah and a specialist in wellness, mindfulness, and liberatory movement practices. They hold an MFA from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and a BFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, both in Dance. Raheim has performed with internationally and nationally touring companies including Seán Curran Company and Lucky Plush Productions, and their choreography has been presented at major venues such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Harlem Stage. A sought-after keynote speaker on transformational leadership and student wellness, Raheim has presented for Dance/USA and leading universities nationwide, and has published in Thrive Global and Authority Magazine. They hold certifications as a 200-hour yoga instructor, social-emotional learning facilitator, Reiki Master-Teacher, and Akashic Record Reader, and were recognized with Windy City Times’ 30 Under 30 Award for their impact in Chicago’s LGBTQ community.
