FERAL FIELDWORK

Leadership by Showing Up
June 16–30
San Francisco (San Pancho), Nayarit, Mexico

YOUNG ADULT Program

(Ages 17-22)

THE TEAM

FIELDWORK is a fifteen day, land-based leadership immersion for teens who are ready to move beyond theory and into practice—learning what it means to participate in the world as an accountable, self aware, capable human with something meaningful to offer.

This experience is designed for young people growing up in a time of rapid change—globalization, AI, cultural complexity—who want more than achievement or authority. FIELDWORK reframes leadership not as hierarchy or dominance, but as responsibility: to place, to people, and to something larger than the self.

Through hands-on work, outdoor challenge, creative collaboration, and shared life with a multigenerational community, teens develop a grounded sense of identity, contribution, and usefulness—building confidence not from performance, but from participation.

FIELDWORK happens alongside UNDULATION, the adult immersion. While adults engage in deeper somatic and relational work, teens spend their days surfing, exploring the land, building with their hands, and learning leadership through real-world engagement. This is not a retreat from life—it’s preparation for stepping into it with clarity, humility, and agency.

Why FIELDWORK?

FIELDWORK is for teens who want to feel capable, connected, and relevant—not just successful. It offers a lived experience of leadership that is ethical, grounded, and relational, preparing young people to engage a complex world with integrity rather than fear or fragility.
